i have come to a few conclusions

conclusion 1: i should be pursuing an economics degree
studying economics always puts me in a good mood. i may not understand what i'm reading or studying right now. but i am enjoying myself. hence, the conclusion is that i should be pursuing an economics degree. i even had the inspiration to write on ACheadlines again. which leads me back to my questioning of why i gave up my opportunity to pursue an economics and government degree at the lse last year. i would even be willing to tolerate the econometrics aspect of it i reckon. god, i just need one more chance. one more chance that i will grab and not look back. this is not the life i want, not the life i imagined. please give me one more chance. just one more chance.

conclusion 2: life is meant to be enjoyed
this is a "duh" thing to say. but many people don't enjoy life. it's unfortunate that i have not been enjoying myself for such a long time. it's the time of the year again..december, which naturally leads to christmas and the new year. the warm and fuzzy time. looking back at last december, things have changed so much. the best two months for me were of course my two months in america. one thing i was able to do there that i haven't been able to in singapore is to really enjoy life. even something as simple as going to the supermarket or boiling barley water was enjoyable for me. well, i was attached last december, i'm single right now. it's nice to be attached. to love and be loved back (hopefully the loved back part is true...HAHA...signs of a love cynic bruised by past hurts). but it's also nice to be single. then u can spread your love further. love more people and be loved back. girlfriends come and girlfriends go (until u propose to one and she says okay), but friends are forever.

conclusion 3: i want cash for christmas
unless u are classified under "close friends" who are expected to know what i like and dislike (in which case u are expected to get me a nice present and not resort to giving me cash), otherwise, i want cash. i'm so so so broke. cash will come in handy. not vouchers, cash. wahahaha. shameless but i'm cash-strapped.
