it's official. i'm homesick. i woke up this morning. and decided to catch the live chc service instead of go to church here. and i miss church so so so much. i miss singapore so so so much. sighs. this is the longest i've been out of singapore and out of chc. man oh man.
anw, i just decided this morning that i might (just might) go back to singapore for a short trip soon if the chance arises. i actually don't know if the chance is gonna come but i hope so. if it does, i will probably grab it with open arms. is it gonna come? hmmm...how about i let everyone be surprised? oh, although i have a long weekend end of this month, it wouldn't be at that time. i should be going to tibet at that time (hopefully). see the himalayas and mount everest.
i might not be able to meet darian this summer. we were supposed to go to bali together and drive up to yong peng or fly to kl on airasia's super budget flight this summer (seb and i also talked about these trips but seb will be in singapore when i get back...hopefully...right seb?). and because i took the job in shanghai, we most certainly cannot. i'm so gonna miss going to china club (roast pork!) or asia grand (peking duck! which kicks the peking duck in beijing's ass big time) or the spa or ktv with him. darian ee, come to shanghai! that's the only plausible way we can meet!
i miss mee goreng, and chicken rice, and roast duck rice, and soy duck noodle, and carrot cake, and beef noodle, and bak chor mee, and cafe cartel's panfried macaroni. ugh. my obsession with food is probably not healthy. terrible terrible.
i miss eating and watching movies and bowling and gyming and shopping with seb. i miss talking crap with yujie (oops. sorry man. but that's what's really enjoyable ah). i miss church so much. miss the worshipful atmosphere, pastor kong's preaching, and pastor chee kiang, and his family, and everyone else. somehow church is such an integral part of me. it's like an extended family. talking of family, oh crap, i miss my mum and brothers (get to see dad often enough so that's good).
it has also occurred to me that i probably won't get to see xiu till i don't know when (it won't be this summer). and i won't get to see jo till i don't know when (it won't be this year i reckon). i hope i get to see charm when i get back to singapore. we're all in singapore at different times. this is truly the life we imagined. all of us travelling to different parts of the world at different times. and it's really nice. the only thing is we rarely ever meet up. like we said, if only we were in the same city (think new york because all of us love new york and it seems to be the meeting point for us overseas) at the same time, we would be living the "friends" life. but we aren't.
i wanna go home!
